Overall it looks like the 2022 draft is a train wreck. Only Cooley and Mintyukov look solid so far.

Id rather bridge a player and pay more just to be sure vs paying ahead just to save a couple of mil.

Scabs fans love him and the contract. Apparently they are laughing at us because only they realize he’s a top tier forward.

I watch them often and it's been amazing to watch that powerful offense dry up. Offensive struggles would have been at the very bottom of my list of things that may cause them grief this season.

Most losses/wins during that time frame were within one goal. I wouldn't count them out until the playoffs.

They’ve been very fortunate that NYR and Boston both suck this year.

Based on points percentage, they’d be 8th in the West. They’re 6th in the East right now.

I don’t spend much time on the mains or other teams boards so maybe they’re maintaining a steady pace but that doesn’t appear to be the case here. Not that long ago if you skipped a day here there would be umpteen pages of new posts to catch up on. I miss yesteryear.

I realize you're talking about a longer trend but it doesn't help that the sight currently looks like trash.

As for the larger trend... What do you expect with the moderation on the mains?

This is the year for management to make a big move imo. There are clear holes on D and C. Unfortunately Tre seems scared...

He was probably awake all night thinking about how silly he feels turtling against Reaves the night before and the cocky point to the scoreboard and wave. If he would have stepped up and threw a beatdown on Reavo it would have fired up his team even more and might have changed the outcome. But he knows that wouldn't have happened and he will forever more put on some lipstick when playing against the Leafs LOL.

Seeing Rempe vs Xhekaj fight tonight me Reaves needs to retire. It’s just a new generation of goons and no one’s dancing with the old timer.

Aren’t we all? We’ve had a “Golden Path” to the Final Four before and we blew it in spectacular fashion. Even if we add to shore up holes the most we’re guaranteed is one series win.

The Bruins have been defying the odds a bit by staying right in a playoff spot (or a point out), despite having a -23 goal differential.
 
If you're a brute like me who enjoys violence in sports then the Habs-Rangers game was must see.

Rempe & Xhekaj got into a good brawl. You're probably wondering how Rempe got that coward to fight. All Rempe had to do was start punching Xhekaj in the face until Xhekaj punched back.

He didn't shrug and skate away cause Xhekaj wasn't willing to go at first.

Anderson had a good night. An assist and a wicked fight of his own. Anderson was a player I really liked when he was in Columbus.

Now that he stinks I don't want him here anymore.

I think my favourite non-Leafs player is Brady Tkachuk. He'd look really good in blue and white. A culture change in the dressing room is required and Tkachuk would accomplish that.

He wouldn't be afraid to punch Xhekaj in the face like Reaves is.

No, he hasn't. It was a nice hit though. Xhekaj crapped his pants Saturday night though.
