Honestly I think Myers should get a game more. 2 for McDavid, 3 for Myers. McDavid at the very least is in the heat of battle, similar to Matthews on Dahlin. Myers crosschecks Bouchard after the play just because he's skating towards him to pair off during the scrum. Much less provoked.

At this point even the players must suspect they don't have what it takes. The only one who might still believe in this core is Shanahan. Everyone else watching them all these years have started giving up on them.

I get that you want to be patient with young players and some take longer than others but holy shit Slaf was 1st overall and he looks nothing like a franchise player. On pace for 9 goals has to be really concerning for the Habs. Plus he makes superstar money next season.
