I still wonder why Ottawa moved Chychrun. It seemed like the guy was happy there, he said in interviews he loved being so close to his grandfather and sister who lived minutes away from his new home in Ottawa.
Who knows what happened behind closed doors but felt like they were better off keeping him instead of giving him away for cheap. He probably would get you a better return at the TDL.

They wanted to shake up the locker room, and Chychrun was allergic to contact.
He would've been worth a bit more, but if the most he returned was a 3rd + Jensen at the start of free agency, I can't see teams lining up for him at the TDL either (at least if he stayed in Ottawa).
