I was looking at his history. I know he cheated on his wife with a reporter before that. Guy just seems scummy.
I mean not great but not really relevant. Cheating hockey players isn’t exactly a new thing.

Edit : Flags are there for sure though. Lots of different NHL teams lately as well.

Just ridiculous heh. What NHL fail. Tried to tune in only to see the
"This game is blacked out in your area"

The NHL does these games for the implicit purpose of maximum exposure but then goes minimum exposure on the ability to view the game. Try to figure this nonsense out.

The other TSN tiers though had entertaining pickleball tournament on...

jk
Gary’s response would be ‘What’s the big deal, our fans can still bet on the games, that’s all that we care about.’

What a weird review in Sweden. Guy toe picks and injures himself and takes the Detroit net off
Marner shoots well after it and they end up reviewing it

NHL does some weird shit man

Now a Toronto player covers the puck in the crease after Detroit misses a backhand gimme

Penalty shot for sprong

He scores

Yeah, I bought the year pass, and sometimes the scoreboard quality video really puts me off too. The price was good enough that I can just check in for every second game or so at least.
I get a ton of AHL games on my IPTV box. I stupidly still pay for Telus b/c it supposedly makes my entire package cheaper...IPTV I pay $130 for the entire year. Every AHL team has a channel dedicated to it on there. Every NHL team. Every MLB team. Every NBA team. Every NFL team. Every sports channel you can think of including PPV. Every movie channel you can think of. Pretty much every show you can think of on video demand that get updated daily. Movies. Kids stuff. yada yada. Working perfect for 5+ years

David Pastrnak and the Bruins were expected to take a big drop this year, with the retirements of Krejci and Bergeron and the loss of free agents Hall and Bertuzzi. Instead, Pasta is right on track for his goal totals of last year and even higher assist totals, and the B's have the best record in the league again. Not sure how the hell they do it.

It's the embedded culture of accountability, hard work, and everyone individually being challenged to meet expectations.

Reminds me in a sense of the '91 and '92 Oilers (more so '92). Rosters were a shadow of what they once were, but when it came down to crunch time they were a handful for teams because the standard that was established over the previous 10 years was still hanging around the organization despite the key elements that created that standard not being there anymore.

It's honestly a depressing contrast to the Oilers room currently.

Red wings blow a two nothing lead and lose 3-2, turning into the dead things

I don't think any person would have predicted this

It's a culture thing there. They play their system to a tee. No Ryan mcloeding out there either. They all crash and bang too.

They can just plug and play no namers into their lineup

Good goaltending helps too. Lindholm was a great pickup

Yeah I’m late to the discussion, but this blacked-out ridiculousness has been complete bs.

Time for me to whine (I like wine!). I pay for the ESPN+ package that is supposed to get me all NHL games. I only care about the Oilers games but whatever.

I live in Portland which is three hours south of Seattle. Think YEG to YYC sorta. The last game against the Kracken in Edmonton was blacked out for me. Like wtf. I can’t get any Seattle stations - not even an option. I live in a different state. I have literally no idea why this is blacked out for me at a location that’s 1,600 km away.

Anyhow, that’s been my experience for years and it just seems par for the course of the NHL getting in its own way.

This Europe black out is just insane.

/whine over. Wine soon to be ingested.

Just doesn't make sense why these global games can't be national and blackouts lifted.

I've done the Seattle to Portland skip. NHL really has to sort out these blackouts. The whole goal one would think is to increase exposure to product. How do blank screens do that?

Lucic in trouble again--this time in Boston.

Police invited him down to the station for an interview.

Now I remember why I don't miss seeing this guy in an Oiler uniform.
