Sadly the oilers got screwed by the refs. 6 powerplays isn't enough to escape a regulation loss to a powerhouse Ducks team
No, the Ducks won in Montreal 5-2 a couple nights ago.Caught the end of the Oilers/Ducks game where the Oilers just lost to the Ducks in regulation (I think that's the Ducks 2nd regulation win all year?) and McDavid sprints off the ice as soon as the buzzer goes and Draisatl follows behind smashing his stick.
I can't imagine the shit storm the Toronto media would have if Marner and Matthews did this.

Yes had to laugh as Jack had to wait while the two royals had their pouty snit and ran off.Caught the end of the Oilers/Ducks game where the Oilers just lost to the Ducks in regulation (I think that's the Ducks 2nd regulation win all year?) and McDavid sprints off the ice as soon as the buzzer goes and Draisatl follows behind smashing his stick.

McDavid is a respectable player, but Draisaitl has to be the most overrated player in the league. He's absolutely brutal defensively and seems to have a terrible attitude. He's actually getting outscored at 5v5 this season even though he regularly plays with McDavidCaught the end of the Oilers/Ducks game where the Oilers just lost to the Ducks in regulation (I think that's the Ducks 2nd regulation win all year?) and McDavid sprints off the ice as soon as the buzzer goes and Draisatl follows behind smashing his stick.

McDavid is the best player in the league, Drai is the Erik Karlsson of forwards absolutely frightening offensively but with serious defensive warts and unbelievable hubris.McDavid is a respectable player, but Draisaitl has to be the most overrated player in the league. McDavid first star of the game but yet a goalie makes 46 saves gets second star?????
They wouldn't have it any other way.
Something turns me off about Draisaitl but I'm not certain what. When just talking about the player though, I rather have both Matthews and Marner.McDavid is a respectable player, but Draisaitl has to be the most overrated player in the league. I think when the East is set next spring any of the top 8 teams will be capable of beating one another. And just like that, the Canes have caught the Devils in points with both playing the same number of games
I think the 3 best teams in the East (arguably the league) are all in the same division. The good news is we're one of them, the bad news is we're in the division lmao
In hockey anyone can beat each other, but I think tiers will developI think when the East is set next spring any of the top 8 teams will be capable of beating one another.
It'll come down to the more favourable match ups between teams.
I would put Canes and Pens in the top 5. Pens are all in so they'll go for it from here on out.In hockey anyone can beat each other, but I think tiers will develop
The top tier to me will become Boston, Tampa, Toronto. I could also see the Canes in here. These are the cream of the crop, cup contenders
Next tier has NYR, PITT, NJ. Good teams I could see going on a run
Last tier is the likes of NYI, BUF, DET. Anyone who ends up making the 8th seed tbh
Yeah I'm confused, that entire thread is people harping on one line from the OP and trolling. Surprised it's still open while the McDavid/Hart one is closed.
Honestly, the Hart thread is a good question too, at what point does individual accolades succumb to team failure for hart voting? In comparison, the Matthews one was such an obvious attempt to rile people up
