Coilers almost blew a 4-1 lead in the third to the lowly Blackhawks. But the mood over there is euphoric. I guess when you suck with the McDrai for all these years, you take what you can.

Campbell finally managed to win one?

Their defence is so bad. Blackhawks have been awful offensively this season and they managed to pot four goals. Skinner was left out to dry a lot in that third period.

It was Stuart Skinner who started last night for them.

The mighty Oilers with 9 shots on goal after 2 periods. Riding McDrai hard they might actually come out on top lol such a one line team.

Campbell crapping the bed so far.

Wow , Jason Robertson is amazing. You gotta think that Nick watches these games and picks up tips from his brother. It’s only a matter of time that Nick Robertson really establishes himself.

I like Campbell as a person, but this is just the level of goalie he's been for the vast majority of his career. Edmonton was very arrogant to think that the 30 year old with no track record of being a starter was worth that deal, and they deserve to pay for it
Was he really this bad when he was with us? Hard to tell sometimes when you are a fan and convince yourself of things. Watching him this season makes me wonder if we done our players wrong with our vitriol. Yes, Oilers team defence is brutal, but no team could win with that goaltending.

I'm glad management saw what I saw last season and said no to that ludicrous Jack Campbell asking price and contract. He's not good enough for the numbers his agent commanded.

Jack Campbell can have the nicest attitude in NHL history, that isn't going to stop a hockey puck, so I don't care how much he smiles. If he can't stop a puck, get rid of him.

Good riddance.

It’s really telling that they didn’t even attempt to offer him a contract knowing they had no goalies going into next season
