Someone made a thread saying Matthews is the worst 5on5 goal scorer this season, so I made the exact same thread about mackinnon because he had the same number of 5 on 5 goals at the time as Matthews, just to show how ridiculous that type of thread is.

My thread gets instalocked. Matthews one stays up, next day another of the exact thread of Matthews gets posted and it stays open. So they had 2 active thread bashing Matthews about the same thing.

The reason for my thread being locked and Matthews thread wasn't was because Matthews is a more notable goal scorer than mackinnon so it's more news worthy :facepalm:

Shit is ridiculous. It's always open season on the leafs but if you post something about another team as a leaf fan you get instawarned.

Bill Zito was slowly looking like a solid gm. But then last year's trade deadline happened and it has been complete downhill since then. Tkachuk trade was alright, but it will not salvage the youth and assets he gutted all for 4 playoff wins. And to cap off that season he decides pomo is the best for the job :laugh:

This year is one of those crazy years for goaltenders. I thought Markstrom would have another lights out year, but he's been garbage. Even the two goalies who I think are the cream of the crop, Vasilevskiy and Shesterkin, have been pedestrian this year.

Goalies truly are voodoo. You won't really succeed without a good one. But so few are damn consistent over a lengthy period of time. It's what makes the careers of recent retirees like Price and Rask, along with Luongo and Lundqvist just before that, all that more impressive.

That is very damn cool! The glow-in-the-dark on the jerseys and even the helmet straps is awesome.

Once the lights are on though, those jerseys stink. Splashing 'Vegas' across the front is lazy, and the fact the jersey colour scheme looked exactly like the Canucks retro jerseys made it all that more confusing considering they were playing the Canucks that night.

You'll enjoy the site more if you just stop venturing to the main boards. Lots of (acting like) petty losers congregate there.

Combined with a very partial mod team and its just not worth it. What's funny is they want people to spend money on the site. Fix the mod team then. 😅

He had a chance to rehab his career in Toronto but his agent fumbled the bag. If he can't get it together in Colorado he should just retire from hockey. Sakic has a great eye for reclamation projects though so let's see what happens.
 
Florida ain't making the playoffs

Tampa is likely ending up as the 3rd seed in the Atlantic. Now the question is can we catch Boston or are we having a rematch with the Bolts
