whats with the disrepect to vegas? theyre the best team in the west.
Healthy Stone and healthy Eichel is a pretty big deal. Their goaltending looks shaky, though.

The will play Edmonton just as tight, but will be able to kill more penalties. The difference is, unlike LA, they actually have game breakers on offence.

No surprise there. When you got dudes like @JimmyApples representing their fanbase this is the pathetic shit to be expected.

Enjoy that extra long Summer of Pierre

Kings need to get a legit #1 in the summer. Korpisalo Copely and Peterson doesn't cut it against Edmonton and Vegas. Hellybuck?

Funny how Stone wasn't healthy until the salary cap disappeared.

Muzzin ready for round 2 maybe? :sarcasm:

Coach lost his team.

Much turnover this summer?

Then tries to walk it back but doesn't.

So why did he take the 'C' away from Wheeler ... ego?

Kings were trash for most of the series and they punted away game 4, which was the turning point

Don't have much faith in Vegas to beat the Oilers

Vegas is on a whole other level of good compared to the Kings. They dominated the Jets. But the Knights goaltending is very iffy going against one of the best offense in the league.

Healthy Oilers team compared to an injured Jets team?

Ehlers, Scheifele, Morrisey injured/playing injured.

Not sure we can compare the 2 scenarios accurately.

As with any playoff bracket watching, you just hope it's a long brutal series and whomever emerges is worse for wear and get upset by an inferior Cinderella team that your team can match up with and beat down the road.

Oilers going farther in the playoffs is a good thing for the game. But not that far... and if Vegas empties the tank trying to beat them, and the WCF is a bloodbath. And Toronto takes care of business. Those are things I want to see.

I’m conflicted. I’d really like to see the Oilers fail on one hand, as I think they are the hardest team in the west to beat. On the other hand, a Leafs v Oilers final would be pretty epic to watch… one round at a time though.

Just watched the Oilers/King highlights. Daneault's tying goal was comical.

Oilers would be infuriating to watch, tbh. A team full of divers who can get free goals with that powerplay. It is like a light switch.
