Although they definitely overachieved in the goals department during the season, they have the talent to put up numbers. They're also a defensively sound team.

But if they're getting this kind of goaltending from Grubauer, they have as good of a shot as anyone in the West to make the finals. Winner of DAL/MIN certainly won't scare them if they get by Colorado.
Yeah west is wide open but if Seattle wins ... other than Dallas maybe getting in the way... Edmonton or Vegas has a good chance.

Hopefully Colorado figures it out.

East is a bloodbath compared to the west. Hard to say what will happen. A lot of great teams.

Leafs all the way but it's a tough road. It'd be Leafy to get through though. Gotta have faith.

Former Leaf Evan Rodrigues with one of the luckiest goals ever and then a huge save on the empty net. Pair those with all of the missed Seattle chances to put the game away in the 3rd, I thought Colorado was destined to tie it up

Nice defending at the end

Saw this on Facebook reel, that’s not Engvall, right?

Mackinnon gets barely touched and goes down, stops playing the puck and yells at the ref for not making a call (to be fair, Colorado usually gets a call whenever anybody breathes in their general direction), starts slamming his stick on the boards as the play goes the other direction, causing him to be behind everybody, and the Kraken go down the ice and score, with the person who changed on for Mackinnon getting there half a second too late. And it ended up being the difference in the game.

Lots of people praising at the altar of Mackinnon around here, but can you imagine the earth-shattering rage if one of our stars did that?

Also, Bertuzzi was a very liked target at the deadline, and he's done quite well offensively, but what the hell is this:

I saw the little article about that play but didn't actually see it.. not what I was expecting. That's nothing, sure it could have been called as the skates clipped together. But that's hardly a blatant trip to get upset about. That doesn't even register on the bad calls list so far this playoff.

Saw McAvoy and probably thought he was gonna start skating in that direction so put the puck where he thought he was gonna go. Watching it closely it also looks like awful timing because the second Bertuzzi looks down at the puck to make the pass McAvoy turns to the left to go behind the net. Should've made the safe play anyways like McAvoy anticipated but that's just someone who is still new to the team and just not being on the same page.

Boston was sloppy last night hehe

Tough night for the Jets. Not sure what the off-season brings there. They should overhaul that roster but Chevy doesn’t do much other than move out those who ask out.
Jets fans love him but I think he’s a nothing burger gm.

They need to get worse in order to get better and that market may not be up for it
