Connor Bedard is undeniably a better prispect than Connor Mcdavid was

Mcdavid absolutely blew the expectations he had. People knew he would be generational and could end up 5th to 10th best all time (ala Crosby)

He exceeded that and at minium made the big 4 a Big 5

Bedard as a prospect having seen what Mcdavid has accomplished has even higher expectations.

He is expected to challange OVs goal scoring record in the future, and to be a enlite play maker

He is one of the best big game/moment prospects so far with his dominant wjc and now destroying Saskatoon with 8 pts in 2 games (regina is like flordia and saskatoon boston)

Really hoping some team in the west gets him. Bedard will destroy the leafs like every other franchise player/generational talent has. Hoping we don't see him often

Leafs might have 3 years before he's destroying the league ... then they can sell off for their next rebuild.

Jets essentially need to win their next three (vs CGY, vs NSH, vs SJ) to get in. The first one needs to be in regulation, of course. Flames 4-1-0 won't be enough as they don't have the tie breaker and if Preds lose to Jets or Flames, they're done.

Wednesday's game should be fun. Flames will be tired as they're on a short turnaround B2B and 3 in 4 while Jets will be rested. Flames are also not guaranteed to be beat the Hawks on Tuesday as they barely got by the Canucks and Ducks

Kraken could still technically miss, but they have games in hand and a cake schedule including 3 against the Coyotes lol

Keep Buffalo out of the playoffs please.

I don't want the Leafs anywhere near a playoff matchup with them, there is way too much PTSD from playing them back in the day.
Wouldn't that mean the Leafs have advanced, who wouldn't take that?

That Wednesday's game might just determine who gets in. Jets have a tougher schedule with games against the Avs and Wild. The Central race is tight, with those 2 and Stars fighting for top spot and home ice, so they probably won't be resting players depending on if a spot isn't locked in yet. Another thing is Stars and Wild probably want to avoid the Avs in the first round, so if there is a game which determines if they play the Avs or not whether it's by winning or losing, they may base their effort level based on that.
I will say a Avs series against any of those would be fun. All three play up tempo styles.

Sandin's underlying numbers here were elite. Literally.

I'm not surprised a certain few are salty he held out on their boy so have decided to go full troll mode on him. What do you expect him to do on one of the worst teams in the league since the deadline? Use some common sense.

Sandin is going to be perfectly fine.
