So... out for the season? That looked like a tear for Stamkos.
I'm not at the point where I miss Malgin, but I think people were way too harsh on him and he wouldn't be the worst player in the bottom 6 if he was still here
Just added a goal too.Sandin with already 7 points in 4 games since the trade. Played 25 mins and 29 mins in his last 2 games, and still is the 2nd most used player by Washington today (15+mins after 2 periods).
Kid found a home.
And we will never miss Nic Petan, Ilya Mikheyev, Kasperi Kapanen, Andreas Johnsson and Pierre Engvall either.Take a look at Noel Acciari. He’s your ideal, benchmark for what a bottom 6 six forward should look like 200 feet of the ice every 60 minutes of play. You’ll never miss Malgin when you have that.

And I hope we will never miss Alexander Kerfoot soon.
As of now that would probably be ZAR. Neither would play over Knies though when he signs.I'm not at the point where I miss Malgin, but I think people were way too harsh on him and he wouldn't be the worst player in the bottom 6 if he was still here
It's called game management. All brought on by the betting culture that has permiated all sports. The integrity of the game has been corrupted. It almost seems like there's a bias within the officials to help certain teams more than others
This is blatantly untrue. The first round of the NHL, either under the conference system or the shitty divisional system has always been an exciting affair. No series is ever truly predictable in the NHL and upsets happened plenty of times.
Vancouver's from what I hear is worseFlyers go from re-build with Hextall, they get impatient and can him, bring in Fletcher who puts the team in a worse spot than when he came in, they fire him and they start another re-build.
Some owners are ridiculous...

Honestly, it's smart for Briere to publicly take that stance. If other GMs think he has some mandate to move a bunch of contracts he will have a tough time getting fair value.
