Also holy jesus the shit they are unearthing about Melnyk is just awful...Like I knew some but holy shit this is some next-level crap. I think this can almost feel like Ballard level type of shit man.

For those wondering what I am talking about: The Eugene Melnyk era in Ottawa: Hopeful, then bizarre and tyrannical

what a terrible owner. hard to think a modern organization worth hundreds of millions is run this way. then again there's the blackhawks.

If Vegas and the Jets both miss the post season, who would you consider the bigger flop? Considering making this a poll by seasons end should that scenario pan out. Have to believe it would be a close poll.

Vegas for sure. Winnipeg hasn’t been a great team since they lost half their defence after 2019. Overrated defence that isn’t being carried by Hellebuyck playing at an elite level and they’re shown to be mediocre.

Cheering hard for Vegas. They can easily get 3rd seed with a shot at 2nd if they beat the Oilers next game.

LA is injured and a pushover that wouldn’t be anywhere close to the playoffs if not for the Pacific.

Vegas can crush the Oilers in the playoffs.

Even with all the injuries, I'd probably say Vegas for a few reasons:

-They were the favourites to win the awful Pacific division. Calgary is a surprise, but even a depleted Vegas team should easily finish 2nd or 3rd
-Eichel trade. You didn't make the trade to miss the playoffs.
-The Jets aren't that good. Being a bubble team is exactly where they should be rather than a lock to make the playoffs like many predicted
