Congrats to the Avs on finally getting to the final. Nice to see Kadri even though he will miss it get there. As someone who has always liked him, it's great to see. Go get that cup.
Nice run by Edmonton even if it was undeserved. McDavid needs help but we have been saying that for a while. Edmonton were huge benefeciries of a bad division and they still almost lost against a rebuilding Kings team.

They just got absolutely crushed by an actual contender - demonstrating they're miles away from contention.

The Oilers 2 best players were both -5 this series in 4gms.

You can only play who's infront of you. And McDavid and Draisaitl have gotten to places Matthews and Marner can only get to on EA Sports. Sorry Zeke we can say bad luck, tough opponents, blame the league for seeding, etc. A team that makes it the semi's is more of a cup contenders than a team that can't make the quarter finals.

I guess they can raise their WCF flags but in reality these playoffs showed the Leafs are a contender and the Oilers aren't close.

He's won Cups. Why would he?

Like I said - I hope.

Bad division or not you don't fluke your way into conference finals. Their best player were lights out against Calgary

When was the last time our best players were that good in any series?

No shame in losing in conference finals, even if you got swept.

We had our chance last year. We blew it, they didn't

2 player team can only get you so far. Oilers benefited from playing a weak pacific division. Look what happens when they played a contender.

I sure hope Holland thinks this season was as much of a success as you do.
Oilers are complete pretendors. Once we saw them play a decent team, they showed what we throught they were. Leafs are still ahead of the Oilers

Don’t you say this every year? And then this same core goes out and proves you dead wrong over and over again, embarrassing us in the process?

I’d rather have a WCF banner than no series wins since 2004. But hey that’s just me.

I'd say Leafs are a better team, just don't have anyone close to the McDavid and Draisaitl combination.
McDavid is the best player between the 2 teams. Matthews and Marner is the better combo. Drai is amazing offensively but has nothing defensively.
