I think McClellan is doing to Kopitar and Doughty what Eakins did to Getzlaf. But we’ll see. Kopitar and Doughty have shown impressive durability so far

Both are much better players than Getzlaf at this point of their careers... but the Kings are definitely riding both of them hard.

Having not watched much of Dallas this year, my biggest takeaway is that despite being past it, Ryan Suter is still a pretty damn good hockey player. I get why Guerin bought out Parise, but IMO, the tandem Suter buyout is gonna hurt them significantly in the long run without much tangible benefit over the next 2-3 seasons.

Having not watched much of Dallas this year, my biggest takeaway is that despite being past it, Ryan Suter is still a pretty damn good hockey player. They’ve almost got a go all in window this season before they’re absolutely stung by cap penalties. I get Parise but buying out both was really strange.

Robertson-Pavelski-Hintz is probably the best line in hockey that absolutely no one talks about. Those three (and Heiskanen’s two-way play) are the reason why Dallas is where they are hanging around the playoff race

dallas is an interesting team in that their two stars (benn and seguin) have done much of nothing so far this season while more unknown guys like robertson and hintz have been carrying the team as well as pavelski who is quietly having another great season

Have always liked Pavelski's game even when he was with the Sharks. He may be slower now but his deflection/tip ins are still going in all the same.
He's aging like fine wine. I hope McTavish will be the same way.
