Something decent for Brown and a half eaten edible arrangement for Carter. No pineapple or strawberries, just cantaloupe.

I drove delivery for that company for a summer. Recipients were routinely confused. "She got me grapes? She knows I hate grapes... do I owe you any money?" Wasn't so bad, got to drive a giant refrigerated van around in the heat, sometimes like 200 km for a single delivery. Decent.

But yeah as much as I hate to say it, 2021 Carter is like a warm all-grapes Edible Arrangement that we left on your porch while you were on vacation.

Yeah the numbers are perfectly fine, imo...but why an NTC? That is absolutely not the player to do that for.

I thought I read it was just for this(?) year, so he wouldn't get exposed to Seattle. Or maybe that was someone else's thoughts on the NTC and not actually the case.

Fourth period aka Bernstein has Boston scouting the kings lately and Iafallo is the player of interest. Take that for what u will

too bad the oilers cannot play the sens in the playoffs. I have been preaching it to all Oiler fans here. They are set up as a regular season team that relies on special teams. Less penalties in the playoffs and the Oilers will struggle in the playoffs. I will say this till they prove otherwise.

Some reports are tying that to the fact the Kings and he cannot agree on contract . So they don't want to lose him and he would be intersting to some teams seeking forward depth.

not alot of players like him out there. Hopefully will drive up the cost.

KHL bound IMO

KHL's about to wrap up for the season, so this is probably a last ditch attempt for him to catch on with an NHL club this season to help his market in the offseason. He's giving up a chunk of cash this year by terminating, so it seems like he wants to continue in the NHL. I imagine he'd get better money next year in the KHL, but we'll see what his priorities are.

The NTC probably kept the numbers on the lower side. Pearson went from LA, to Pit, to Van, real quick. Different coasts. Different countries. Give me some control, I'll knock off $750k or whatever.

Canes fan here. Apparently Seravalli mentioned on his latest radio show that the Kings and the Canes were talking quite a bit about Sean Walker the last week or so. I don't know much about him, but I thought that the problem in LA's defensive group was MacDermid and not Walker. I know that he's been a -12 since signing that extension, but at least as far as the eye test is concerned, he's got a really nice set of skates, is locked up to a medium-term at a good cap hit, and seems like he would be a fit with us. It just seems like Faber and Grans are a few seasons off and therefore a Walker trade doesn't look to make a lot of sense barring a premium return.

Canes could use an upgrade on RHD and have a glut of LHD. I'd add to Walker for a chance to get one of Slavin/Skjei/Fleury - not necessarily in any order of preference.

I actually think now is the perfect time to trade Walker. The Kings are very high on Austin Strand and Blake has said they need more size on the blueline, so it makes a lot of sense to move Walker out now while he has pretty good value and allow Strand to take over. Which also allows them to then protect Clague (who I see as a better defenseman than Walker in the long run), or protect Strand in expansion.

He's a good puck moving defenseman who normally can pitch in offensively. Good to have as the 3rd pairing RD on a playoff team. But also not out of place in the top 4 if you need him to.

I could see Walker moving in a package to get an upgrade at LD.
