Snow drafted Barzal, Beauvillier and Bellows let's not forget.

I think the Islanders got 2 solid prospects that show JT something and he will sign also. I think JT might listen like Stamkos did, but i think he will sign before July 1 with the Islanders.

Fair enough...the contract term limits have taken some of the juice out of FA day by almost ensuring the top guys sign before July 1. If we had contract term limits in 2011 Lou might still be the Devils GM

Honestly I do think Lou wanted to trade one of those picks for an immediate upgrade, he admitted as much after. But he wasn't offering it for Grubauer and nobody else moved an NHL player for a first-rounder either.

There have been some links. Kevin Dupont of the Boston Globe linked us and there was the Hockey News who put us in the group.

Who knows though. Still if he leaves the Isles and goes out of the Metro (or goes out west) that helps our playoff chances immensely.
