There are threads on the main boards every ****ing week on dirty/most hated player. I don't get how people never mention Doan and Backes, yet Brown is mentioned on every one of them. I have never seen Brown pull a takedown/slewfoot like what Doan did to Berglund. Berlgund could have easily cracked his skull on the ice if we wasn't as careful. That **** better be reviewed.
 
Because the Coyotes are nobody, losers. The Kings are winners. Everyone hates a winner. Backes is a giant **** too. Guy needs to get worked one of these days.

Yup. The whole hockey world loved the Kings when we sucked. Now, with two Cups in three seasons, they can't stand us.

Glad to see Romo succeed. I won't use the U word after this previous season, but before that Romo was grossly underrated.
 
Romo is a classic example of an overrated player. Just because he's got the star on his helmet and his owner is grossly overpaying him, people think he's one of the elite QBs in the league. Just what has he won since he's been in the NFL? Nothing.

Hey, Doan single-handedly saved Rosival's career by conducting emergency bionic knee replacement surgery after the Brown hit.

Considering Doan was doing this as his eyes filled with tears makes the feat even more remarkable.
 
All Romo gets is **** while being the best fourth quarter QB in the league. I never said he was elite, and I use that word sparingly, but to blame him for not winning things is lame. That offensive line and defense last year was atrocious. Check Romo's stats, they're monstrous. Here are a few to mull over - second highest passer rating of all active QBs, second highest passer rating in NFL history, and a top 12 statistical QB in the league over the last five years. I won't even bring up his ungodly fourth quarter numbers. Two of which being his 103 passer rating and 11 game winning drives over the last three seasons (before this season) which makes him the best in the NFL.

The baseline of an elite player to me is championships. He isn't there yet, but he might be soon. He's underrated. How many times is he mentioned alongside Rodgers, Manning, or Brady? Not very often, yet he's statically right there, if not better.
 
Too bad Yandle doesn't shoot right though. I wonder if Z. Michalek would be worth trading for? I haven't seen much of him this year...
 
Max Domi has the most punchable face in hockey and will fuel this rivalry next year.
