All Romo gets is **** while being the best fourth quarter QB in the league. I never said he was elite, and I use that word sparingly, but to blame him for not winning things is lame. That offensive line and defense last year was atrocious. Check Romo's stats, they're monstrous. Here are a few to mull over - second highest passer rating of all active QBs, second highest passer rating in NFL history, and a top 12 statistical QB in the league over the last five years. I won't even bring up his ungodly fourth quarter numbers. Two of which being his 103 passer rating and 11 game winning drives over the last three seasons (before this season) which makes him the best in the NFL.
The baseline of an elite player to me is championships. He isn't there yet, but he might be soon. He's underrated. How many times is he mentioned alongside Rodgers, Manning, or Brady? Not very often, yet he's statically right there, if not better.
