Sheesh - looks like they may be headed for the worst possible outcome for the Kings -- a San Jose OT (not shootout) win.

Remember when they called too may men penalties? There was a play late in the 3rd when Thornton was 20 feet from the bench and they made a full change. Seems like the refs are letting much more go as the season get near the end

So, that brings the Sharks and Kings level in points and games played right now, with the Kings significantly up on the ROW (21 to 14). So, all the Kings need to do to lock down home ice in the first round (no matter what else the Sharks do) now is to split the two games with the Sharks (either both regulation or both OT/SO) and win the other eight.

The good news is its going to a shootout and SJ wont get a regulation or ot win.

Who cares SJ is so far behind us in the ROW column they would have to win 7-10 and us not win a single game to catch us there. And if that happened we wouldn't be battling for the 4th spot with them.

But by them getting 1 point a win tonight and we are back in control of if we keeping 4th place. Don't have to hope for something from another team it's all on us.

Hey, I just found out that Ovie has actually been a right winger this season. Hope he stays that way so Luuuuuc remains the all time highest scoring left winger!

Eric Wellwood of the Flyers AHL team, the PHantoms, severed and artery yesterday and managed to skate off the ice leaving a trail of blood behind.

Take a look at his skate (locker room ) ...scary...

Had one surgery and will require more. Lucky to be alive

That is good news. I hope he makes it back 100%. It would be great to see him make it back during the second round of the playoffs. Not likely but it would be great to see.

i doubt it would happen. after i got clearance to start doing anything after i had my achilles surgery i can't picture being put into that situation. the loss of strength and flexibility in the joint was amazing. i am about 16-months post surgery and just two months shy of a year of first skating again. i feel like i am just now beginning to get back to where i was.

now he also isn't pushing 50 and out of shape so his recovery will be faster than mine, but to push at that high of level on that tendon i think is taking a huge chance. the one thing they (doctor) is worried about is having to go back and surgically fix it again should it re-tear. at that point i was told that it turns into a 12 to 18 month recovery period

First great to hear your recovery is going well. Mine was the knee (among others) and I never returned to where I was before the injury really but that was years and years ago.

Second I am certain your right. It would be great to see though.

Turn on the Oil/Ducks game

They are trying to boo Justin Schultz and are booing Nick by accident!

Hilariously bad.
