Around the League 2013-14 Part VIII

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. This really is the key. Kings are fond of saying they haven't played their best hockey yet (seems like the new catchphrase; Hawks said the same thing before tonight). So, I am expecting their best hockey and damn soon.
 
Anyone watching the Worlds on NBCSN?

Jones and Trouba are going to give the USA the type of dominant defenders we haven't had since Chelios and Leetch, our defense just didn't match up to Canada's in this past Olympics but in 2018 a Top 4 of Suter, Trouba, Jones and McDonagh is pretty formidable.
 
@NHLPlayerSafety: Chicago's Brandon Bollig will have a hearing today for boarding/checking from behind on Minnesota's Keith Ballard.

The best part of the pre-game show is watching Mike Milbury get pissed off that today is the anniversary of the MTL-BOS game 7 game, and having to talk about it.Boston had too many men on the ice and lost the game.

Bruce Arthur put it best.. First period BOS/MTL summary: Lots of people falling down, lots of penalties, pretty bad power plays, and Doug Murray is sloooow.
