Rick Nash has always been a floater, no idea why folks on the main board are acting surprised at his ghost act.
Guy has always been this way.

Ryan should be a king by sometime next calendar year, no?
He'll be traded to CBJ in the offseason....then will be a King by the deadline.
Randy Carlyle is staying on as head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
LOL.

Gotta be a photoshop. Way too fake looking.
Definitely a shop. The bottom line of HAHAHAHA should be perfectly parallel with the bottom of the sign (unless it was printed crooked). EDIT: At least it doesn't look parallel to me

Nick Cotsonika @cotsonika
Like it or not, bottom line: Leafs didn't like alternatives to Carlyle right now. If they did, he'd be gone
This is the way I saw it too. Not a lot of better options.
I beg to differ. Trotz would've been a better option. Would've taught them some defensive structure, so the goalies wouldn't see 35+ shots a game.
Thank God the more interesting of the eastern conference series is on tonight. If I had to put up with the Rangers again I'd go out for a pizza instead.

Can they see into the future and see that there wouldn't be better options after next season? If it was the case that there wasn't better options now, than why not let that final year run off and see what options were out there next off-season?
Exactly my logic. If there weren't better options, just give him a year.
