Rick Nash has always been a floater, no idea why folks on the main board are acting surprised at his ghost act.

Guy has always been this way.

You've got to be kidding, an extension? Wow, I can just picture their division rivals fist bumping each other right now.

Perhaps Maple Leafs brass realized they simply don't have a very impressive roster. Their Clarkson money should be going to a decent defenseman.

Nonsense.

He hasn't been the same player since suffering that head injury. He was a great player at one time.

Definitely a shop. The bottom line of HAHAHAHA should be perfectly parallel with the bottom of the sign (unless it was printed crooked). EDIT: At least it doesn't look parallel to me

Plus a sign like that wouldn't be that white or perfect. You would notice printing imperfections and glare.

Plus it has a Royal Half watermark and they always photoshop. ;)

I like how you had the proper amount of HA's... #rphasocd

Thank God the more interesting of the eastern conference series is on tonight. If I had to put up with the Rangers again I'd go out for a pizza instead.

This is the way I saw it too. Not a lot of better options.

I beg to differ. Trotz would've been a better option. Would've taught them some defensive structure, so the goalies wouldn't see 35+ shots a game. Plus why give him an extension? Can they see into the future and see that there wouldn't be better options after next season? If it was the case that there wasn't better options now, than why not let that final year run off and see what options were out there next off-season?

True, but it would have come at the cost of offense. The Leafs are an offensive minded team and any coach that teaches defense first would never fit in.

Yeah, but the game is never going to start because this intro is lasting for ****ing ever... Have these guys never been to the playoffs before?

MTL/BOS compared to NY/PIT is like night and day. Great start to this game. The other series has been just downright putrid.

Exactly my logic. If there weren't better options, just give him a year.
