Love that story. Kenny has worked SO hard over the years to make a name for himself given he's always been in the shadow of his father.

His work ethic is second to none and he's come into his own on hockey broadcasts over the last few years. NBC obviously thought so as he displaced Dave Strader this year as their #2 PBP guy. He's done a great job with the Kings/Hawks series so far.

He still does a bunch of NFL games for Fox as well. Dude is everywhere.

Yeah, he's a workhorse. I've really grown to like him.

Boston is/was terrible. Montreal completely dominated that series, it was laughable and flukey that it even went 7 games.

Montreal lead what, 80% of the series and it went 7 games?

The only reason it went that far is because Montreal kept shooting itself in the foot.

Boston IS the most overrated team in the NHL

Every media monger puts a priority of the (L)eastern conference. Boston plays a similar style of hockey to numerous western conference teams. The media should pull their head out their ass and realize we play that style of hockey, only much better. If the Kings played in the east they'd be worshipped like a ****ing deity.

Their offense sucks.

Their defense is getting worse.

Chara is old, his game has gotten much worse.

Krug is brutal defensively, and he plays sheltered minutes.

Hamilton, is a solid defenseman,

Boychuk is their best defensive defenseman, that's saying a lot.

And seidenberg is pretty good too.

But overall that's not a great defensive core.

Shows how bad the east is.

Plus I think Rask is overrated.

Chara is just about done.

The Torey Krug hype on this site has become ridiculous.

I like Hamilton because his name reminds me of the Kate Upton Dougie video. Brb...

...alright I'm back.

Rask is very solid and I'm a fan of his. Actually, probably the only Bruin I like. He's just an honest, hard working player that seems like a real great guy.

Rask has major anger issues. His tantrums get old real fast.

Gotta admit it's funny though...

Sports Illustrated has the Rangers on the cover and bills them as the "lovable underdogs". LMAO.

Only one SI cover RP cares about...

Boston isn't overrated in my book, they are one of the league's top tier teams. Maybe we wish other teams in the West got as much attention, but they're still great. I expect Chara to bounce back from the hand injury too.

Nor did Montreal dominate that series. They rode some monster performances from Subban and their goalie, who is no longer up against the Rangers.

Agreed. Not to mention that Boston hit the post/crossbar a ridiculous amount of times in that series. I have no idea what series the 'Montreal dominated Boston' crowd was watching...

Yep, one of the top teams, east or west. In many ways, they are built a lot like the kings.

I don't know is it just me, but ECF is getting worse, quality wise, with every new game. Habs can't pass to save their life, and Rangers can't score despite holding full control over large portions of game and having dozen of glorious scoring chances.

It's hard for me to watch this series with any interest.

Both teams look gassed.

I think Medvescak could give either team a run for their money my friend.

Got to have that be reviewable. it's the most black or white rule in the NHL!

Lundqvist is strapping the Rangers on his back and dragging them to the Final. Impressive performance by Hank tonight.
