Around the League 2013-14 Part VIII

Can't believe people actually miss Carcillo, the guy is a side show freak who adds nothing to a team but dumb and selfish penalties like the one we just saw.

He is an embarrassment to the league.

Yeah it was extremely stupid, but you have to admit he never pulled any of that while in LA. He was very solid when he played.

He adds nothing to a team and ultimately it's just a matter of time before he snaps and hurts his team.

Letting go of bums like Carcillo and Frattin enabled the Kings to free up roster spots for Pearson and Toffoli, guys who can actually play hockey.

When you put it that way I absolutely agree, but I didn't think he played poorly while in LA. He would certainly bring more than King.

I couldn't disagree more.

King scored 15 even-strength goals and was a +16 playing many different roles for the Kings, and when was the last time King took a stupid deflating penalty like Carcillo has made a career of doing.

Dwight King >>> Daniel Carcillo
 
Vanek looks terrible. You'd think a guy that's a pending UFA would be putting in more effort.

What has King done in the postseason besides almost missing an empty net? Can't remember him doing much. In fact he hasn't done much since December.

I certainly hope he doesn't get a large raise because he scored '15 goals' this season. Guy can get paid elsewhere for his 15 goals.
 
God if the Rangers win Lundqvist will ascend to heaven and ride his golden chariot back to grace us with his presence for game 1 of the cup finals even if he doesnt make a save from now until the end of the series. The guy has hardly had to move a muscle since last week.

King had an excellent year. Carcillo is a terrible hockey player.

playoff's

King 54 games 8+9 17 points

Trevor Lewis 60 games 9+12 21 points.

That is with Lewis supposedly being this playoff monster.

Don't make me go through the regular season numbers of Trevor Lewis.....You know I will.

King's production this year was excellent for 750k cap hit. The vast majority of King's production (almost all of it) has come at EVEN Strength.
 
Meh, no need to get all analytical (it ends poorly for every Kings fan). The point I'm making is King doesn't have much of an impact on the game given his size where Lewis is always buzzing and bringing energy.

King/Richards/Williams last night got the ice tilted back into the Kings favor. Also scored a big goal, cause King Fore-checked The Hawks Defender into making a mistake (soft pass back into traffic) that Richards picked off.

You guys simply see what you want too, people do it with Muzzin, Stoll . RR, Schultz, ETC.
