If the Rangers and Kings make the Final, it will be the King against the Kings.

If Dwight King scores on Hank, it will read "King scored on King."

Will Hank get confused and mistakenly join the Kings in their locker room between periods?

It's all so very confusing.
Haha! Maybe King Hank will let King and the Kings sleep at his place. If they're lucky, Hank will even cook them dinner. Word on the street is that he makes a mean chicken à la King. They'll enjoy it while watching the cancelled show Kings on DVD.

And then there would be the 2 Mister Game 7's playing vs each other JW vs Hank, who is 6-0 in his last 7 and allowing 1 goal per.

I guess that means the Kings win 1-0 in game 7 , OT with JW getting the Cup Winning goal.

Without tempting faith too much.... How much chance does an eastern team have against CHI or LA should they meet in the Final? They're currently taking MTL to the cleaners but the Kings wiped the floor with MTL in the regular season too. Is it just me or is anybody coming out of the west [barring any serious injuries on the team] a clear cut favourite?

I think Chicago or LA beat either one. I do think the Rangers stand a better chance due to better goaltending and a style of play that is more likely to give them a chance. Either way, I think the Kings or Chicago will beat NY barring critical injuries to either team. I honestly thought the Bruins were the only hope from the east. But you never know I guess. That is why they play the games.

I'm amazed at how much more press coverage the NYR/MTL series is getting than the LA/CHI series.

NYI decides to retain #5 pick in this draft, giving 2015 1st rounder to Buffalo. Also signed Halak to 4/$18M deal.

Something tells me they will regret both moves.

Buffalo is gonna have 3 first round picks in the best draft in years. Wow!

As long as they don't go all Edmonton Oiler like, they could be in excellent shape in the next few years.

Not me. I have been watching the Kings (and now all teams west of the Mississippi) ignored for 47 years. 3 cups in the last 4 seasons doesn't even get close to make a difference. After all, the Kings and Blackhawks are clearly no match for Leastern powerhouses like NYR and MTL.

I'm only surprised because I thought Chicago was a media darling.

I realize TSN is a Canadian network, but it seems like they barely even mention the Chicago LA series. The disproportionate amount of coverage dedicated to New York and Montreal is getting ridiculous.

I'm rooting for Montreal to win playoff games... How has my life come to this???

What a joke!!

Honestly, screw the NHLPA, they fight tooth and nail to limit these suspensions to protect worthless idiots like Prust who headhunt against players who can actually play the game.

NHL should suspend Prust and Dorsett for Game 4, that was an embarrassing display by both players, obviously the Prust one is a lot worse but that has to be one of the worst flops I've seen in 25 years of following the sport.

So far this game has a little bit of everything I hate about hockey.

worthless players headhunting
diving
worthless players fighting and getting ejected

So let me get this straight according to the pro fight crowd. Dorsett fighting Prust is supposed to make Prust think twice about throwing a cheap shot? And you pro fight guys honestly believe that?

The players are clearly incapable of policing the game themselves, get rid of the fighting and impose much much stiffer penalties for cheap shots. Dorsett isn't going to stop Prust from throwing cheapshots.
