I think Kadri should get 2 maybe 3. I thought Doughty should have got a fine. Usually I think the players should get more than what they do. So not sure if its due to LA bias with Drew, and me overvaluing playoff games.

What? The NHL would have access to any camera in the building. During the playoffs I bet there's probably 20+ cameras filming various things on the ice. At least a quarter of those should be on the play.

Why would it be tragic? It's not life and death. They have been regular season warriors the last several years and when it comes to crunch time, they shit the bed.

It also adds to it that I have a friend at work who is a Caps fan, has been since the 80's. He likes to get in my ear about the Larry Murphy trade so it's all good, lots of good natured back and forth.
 
That Doughty is the only one getting discipline between the three is disgusting.

Kadri may get a suspension, maybe just a fine. But like I said, other more egregious head hits were let go.

The Kadri hit was intent to injure. He easily could have peeled off and made no contact at all. I wasn't able to watch the entire game, but Wingels was a target of a few heavy hits in the second period.

The Tom Wilson hit deserved as much or more than Doughty considering his launching through Wennburg.
 
Even fi they didn't get suspended, they deserved a review. Neither even gets that far.

And Carrier is on the ice this morning as per Rosen. Gallant played the DoPS like a fiddle.

Of course he is on the ice. Hit was late in the game and they probably mandated the quiet room concussion review which is why he never made it back.

I don't know if he targeted the head but he certainly charged left his feet and made contact with the head. From that 5 second clip, it sure looks worse than Doughty's. Don't know why there's not even a fine.

Does it matter? They already got what they wanted in getting the Kings most important player off the ice. They win tonight and there's probably a 80-85% chance they win the series based on history. Carrier will be out there tonight running Anze Kopitar and Jeff Carter every chance he gets.

And if he was out then Reaves would've been in. Perron must still be injured or else there's no reason to sit a 50 assist guy.

As for why I said it doesn't matter, I meant Vegas doesn't have to play up the "injury" anymore because they already got what they wanted so there's no point in sitting him to try to fake out the league.
