I love than Panarin hit all of his bonuses and Chicago will be hit with an extra $2.5M cap next year.

That is money well earned and paid, but will hurt the hawks.

Yup, Panarin's success has been a double edged sword for them. We'll see if he can be a difference maker in the playoffs, though I'm not expecting the Hawks to go far this year for some reason. Their D is suspect, much like ours. Who knows though, they practically relied only on their top 4 D in the last run.

Were f-ed if he calls any of our games!

I vomited when I saw his name. That's the guy Foxy has gotten so upset with (twice). He called all 11 Kings penalties in the Preds and Blues games this season IIRC. Horribad.

On the other hand, any of our games called by Wes McCauley is a sure win. :yo:

McCauley is a good'un (#4). He was the ref with the overly dramatic good goal call the last time the Kings played in San Jose (and lost).

So the Sens fired their coaches...Now Karlsson will supporters will have nothing to ***** about next year when he still sucks defensively right?

Or if his numbers go down because he has to play more structured.

Of course, the defense will be he's "being misused."

yup, how many coaches do they have to go through in Ottawa?

If St. Louis and Hitchcock move on (he's in the last year of his contract) I would love to see him go to Ottawa. Karlsson playing under a Hitchcock system would be awesome.

could go either way honestly. the fact that they got scored on first 51 times and were outshot 51 times tells you how much they were playing behind/taking risks to get points on the board. I doubt EK cracks 60 points next season regardless of who they hire in Cameron's place

Bold!! Would be a large drop off to go from 80 to sub 60.

I don't think Chicago will go far either.

I have them booted in the 1st round in both my pools. ST Louis , I think, will beat the snot out of them and I expect Taresenko to have a good series. Plus a lot of the Hawks guys are young and the playoffs is a whole different level of pressure. And not having Keith in the 1st game is good for The Blues. I think getting past the Hawks will put the Blues in the WCF

PIcked TB in that series but with Callahan, STralman, Hedberg, Kucherov, and Johnson out for now, it wasn't easy. Hedberg will play in game 1 and the others are 'skating' except Johnson. So hopefully, at some point some of them get back.

STL needs to win a short series, they won't win a 7 game set. It'll only be so long before the Hawks figure out how to shut down Tarasenko and unless the Blues pull some magic scoring out of their hat from elsewhere I don't see them gutting out a long series.

That being said, Crawford's relative effectiveness is an unknown right now.

Schwartz and Rattie can score

Schwartz and Rattie can score

yeah, Schwartz was like the only other guy I had tabbed to have a big series, especially considering how well he's played since returning

still don't believe that's enough, we've all seen the same damn story with this Hitchcock led Blues squad year in and year out - they can't win the mid-late games in a series to save their lives. Something fundamental has to change or an enormous individual performance has to happen for them to make it past the Hawks, who excel at closing out series.

I think the Sens will go for Julien if he's avaiable.
