I'm pretty disappointed in Quick. He literally looks like he tops the list of players that don't give a damn. I get the whole don't risk injury crap but come on. Fans want to see a competitive game. Not half ass tries.

Love the NBC announcer talking about how he favors the central, partially because "at least their whole team is actually allstars"
Meanwhile, Scott gets 2 and Pacific has doubled central's score.
Maybe not the most serious game, but does look like they are trying short of shoving and slashing...

I guess would be nice... But did you see his "You have been chosen for the ASG" interview? He didn't even want to go. Its a burden for him and took him away from his family... And he isn't the type to be into something like this.
Besides... He let in 2, has any goalie let in less? You realize when you posted this it wasn't Quick in net right?

Yes I'm aware he was not in net when I posted this. Contrast John Scott's attitude with Quick. There are days I don't want to go to work but I still do. And I don't get millions. It's pretty simple, play for the fans in this game. Don't play for yourself.

Jon Scott is having fun and playing for fans. Quick doesn't care.
Can u generalize anymore? "If you have any understanding of anything". Come on man. I love Quick too but it's obvious he doesn't give a crap and that's bad for fans. Period.

This is the highlight of Scotts career and the low light of Quicks...
 
Both goaltenders are doing a good job in this 'finals' of the all star game so far.

...and Doughty wipes out in the last few seconds of the period. Heh.

Dare I say it, this is a fun All-star game.
 
First half of the final allstar game = shutouts for both goalies

I wonder if there will be complaints about "boring defensive hockey" but IMO the low scores throughout have been a sign of at least some success in the new format.

I'm glad I was wrong in my worry that ASG = ridiculous scoring 3on3 = ridiculous scoring, ASG + 3on3 = double ridiculousness.
