Also interesting that the Sharks were the best road team in the reg season, and just lost both on the road. I know it's playoffs, but now they can't rely on stealing games on the road.

The playoffs are a whole new season. I know it puts a lot of prognosticators out of business, but how x team performs in the regular season bears almost no bearing to how they do in the playoffs. Look at the Kings in 2012 or the Caps this year. It really is a whole new season when the playoffs start.

God there's hockey on at 9:30AM? Come on NHL, it's round 2 of the playoffs. These breakfast starts are silly.

Got to get a game in before The Derby. Just kind of weak they stick it to the Stars with a noon start for them as they have to save Pens/Caps for prime time.

As for the game: this is what playoff officiating is all about. Let them play the ****ing game.

Seen close to ten "penalties" that would of been called in the SJ/LA series but they are letting them play today.

Fun hockey.

im so sick of Klingberg. guy is a ****ing coward who takes advantage of tied up and unsuspecting opponents in scrums

I don't know about you but I can think of a lot of better things to do on a Saturday night than watching hockey on TV. Saturday day games are awesome, even better in the morning. I love being a West Coaster.

Oh, Faksa. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

So many fake tough guys on the Stars.

A Stars-Preds series would be a series with the most fake tough guys ever seen on ice at the same time. Neal, Ribeiro, Weber, that European guy whose exact name I can't seem to recall at this moment, Klingberg, Roussel, Faksa, I could go on but I'm sure you get the idea

When NBC wants the game and it's the day of the Derby guess which one loses?
What is baffling to me is why they didn't manage to get the games evened up to where there were 2 each day vs 1 and 3.

The NBA does their playoff scheduling better. Rarely do they have overlapping games after the first round. I guess it does help that the NBA has more teams out of the Eastern time zone than the NHL does. That's why I'm all for a team in Seattle and Vegas.

Boudreau goes to Minnesota and Carlyle to Calgary.

Would be great if Anaheim hired Crawford just to see how many meltdowns that team will have playing under such a big piece of ****.

Can someone explain to me how Ovechkin has (literally) have the ice all alone on the pp to fire off a 1 timer? Usually from Backstrom on the halfwall from the other side of the ice? Kopitar, please take notes since you cannot ever seem to get the puck across the middle without passing it back to the point first.
