Wow best goalie ever let in 3! I can't even comprehend. And I hate to say it but McDavid is good. Sheesh I have never hated Edmonton more. Gretzky, Messier, Kurri now McJesus.

Well, that's it. Boudreau is done; I imagine he will get a "forthwith" demand to appear in the Ducks front office right off the plane, where they will lay the wood to him and hand him his pink slip.

I know they just lost to a GREAT (regular season) team, but the bottom line is they have played 10 games and have 1 win to show for it. 1.

Kinda hard to make the playoffs, much less win a predicted Stanley Cup, when you are on a 8-win season pace.

Doc, just keep mentioning loud-mouth. It seems to be working. :)

The Kings fractured them in the 2014 playoffs, the Hawks broke them in 2015 playoffs. We are now seeing the results.

Sick comeback by the Oil.

This Oilers team is a lot more resilient and scarier than their previous hapless years. I don't know if they'll make the playoffs this year, but they're getting closer to being a team that has to be respected due to their blazing speed and ability to explode offensively. Their defense and goaltending on the other hand...

Okay, no edits just a plain delete.

Let me go ahead and post the post without the offending image.

"Generational" boy just coughed up a three-goal lead. "Generational" my ass. Still no Cups. Nada. He ain't all it, and I'm pretty tired of the Canadian tire-pumping. When he wins two Cups, just like Lundy, then we can start describing him in the same context as Quick and Crawford.

Two Western Conference goalies, I might add.

I do agree that the Price hype is getting a bit ridiculous, but so is using Stanley Cups, a team accomplishment to judge individual players. Is Chris Osgood won two Cups as a starter as well, and lost an additional two times in the finals. Is he better than Dominek Hasek who won one?

If Carey Price and Corey Crawford had come up with the opposite teams there is no doubt that Chicago wins in 2013 and 2015 and possibly in 2014 as well. I don't know if Montreal is even a playoff team with Crawford.

:yo:Well said! Most overrated Generational player ever.

Vezina > Cup

Just keep handing out those meaningless* individual trophies to players that play for teams in the East.

The West will keep collecting the Cups. Sounds about right.

*Meaningless now because those old crotchety eastern sports writers go to bed before puck-drop in the West. The league consists of six teams to those clowns. "O6" means "only six" to them. Stay thirsty my friends.

The only thing that concerns me about the Ducks right now is if they keep this up, they are going to get a 2nd overall pick (behind the Oilers of course) to throw onto a team that technically can perform. Obviously, I am not expecting it to go that far, but it is snowballing fast over there, could be a high pick coming their way.

You just don't get it. Playoffs are irrelevant. Its only the regular season that counts!

If anything, the Ducks are predictable this year.

Goal a game...Goal a game... Goal a game.. It's great when they score a few goals, then I know a shutout is coming next!

I live in Orange County.

I go out to eat tonight, leaving about midway through the second periods of Ducks/Blues. I figured I will catch the rest of the game on one of the two big screen TVs at the Japanese restaurant I frequent from time to time.

No go. Both TVs have the Atlanta Hawks / New York Knicks. Yes, a restaurant in Orange County, not six or seven miles north of Honda Center, and they opt for two eastern basketball teams. On both screens. Must be a statement by the restaurant management. Or maybe they just gave up on the season already.
