I was one of those people, and clearly I was mistaken, but its clear that Calgary is coming back down to earth, just a few months late.

However, I don't see Arizona doing the same thing. They still have that clown in net, and he is proving just as inconsistent this season as he was last.

Just a few games, but he's putting up better numbers than any year except 2012. Possession numbers aren't great, so yeah, if Smith stops stopping pucks, they'll probably have issues. The Pacific may suck, but, they are where they are right now.

Ofcourse the Kings are looking for d-man. We are one injury away from Matt Greene entering the lineup and two away from Jeff Schultz.

Just like 2014. Then they had two injuries in the playoffs. Greene and Schultz in against the Ducks. Different mix this year though. McBain instead of Voynov is the big one.

It's one thing to want a defenseman, it's another to get one. If Lombardi can, it'll probably be closer to the deadline than not. Have to figure out a way until then.

I'm not sure if I should feel depressed we don't have a game with the Ducks until the new year or happy. Knowing that playing us could get them up and started.
