Arizona of this year is going to be last year's Calgary. I honetly do not see them falling below 3rd in our division with Domi and Duclair.

Beating up on an OHL team does not constitute a surprise year for Arizona. I do see them falling back to where we all expected them to be.
Kesler is not the reason they suck. Atleast he's doing something out there. Meanwhile......Getzlaf has his head up his own ass.

Most said that exact same thing to Calgary.
4.Add Los Angeles to the list of teams looking for a defenceman or two. The Kings are not happy with their mix.
14. All it took was one game and the John Tortorella/Ryan Johansen watch has begun. My theory is this: the Blue Jackets have until the end of next season to decide what they have in Johansen. A new contract will be needed, with unrestricted free agency a year away. They are going to use that time and they want Tortorella to push him like he pushed Vincent Lecavalier.
Whatever Columbus eventually decides to do — sign him or trade him — it will not be a rash decision. One rumour I could not confirm: the organization met with Johansen and agent Kurt Overhardt to soothe the hard feelings of a year ago, so everyone could look forward, not behind. That was before Todd Richards’ firing, although I don’t think everything unraveled immediately.
I can't believe they'd trade him but I guess if the right offer came in...
Hamilton reportedly turned down multiple contract offers from the Bruins that would pay him roughly the same or more money than he’s making in Calgary. So what, exactly, was the problem?
It's always nice when life hands it to the jerks. Karma got him in the end. He's a massive Chargers fan and season ticket holder too, so he's tasted some recent loses on that side as well. lolHahaha I thought of that guy too after last night's game. He has to be steaming. What a bozo.
Yeah, but now they have a guy who can shush the fans while they are being swept. That has to count for something, right? The Chris Stewart signing? Yeah, he was incredibly cheap and low risk I suppose, but dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb.
Tommy Wingels should join their crew and they should try to pick up chicks at Dave & Buster's together.Freddie and Dougie Hamilton, looooooooooooooooooooolololol.
11. Arizona’s Martin Hanzal, on the toughest centre in the Western Conference: “Got to be (Anze) Kopitar. You might not notice it, but he’s pretty fast. Can beat you in different ways.â€
Extension talks have slowed. Don’t know if it was because the Kings were losing, but it seemed very close, then stopped. Would be shocked if it didn’t get done, though. He’s too important.

Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen has a 1.71 GAA and .940 save % and he is 0-3-2. The Ducks have scored one goal for him in six games. One.
How do they have the balls to sit in the same locker room with him. Embarrassing.
If the Kings are looking for a defenseman, I highly doubt it's for a #6. It would have to be a top 4 because why waste trade assets on a 12 to 14 minute a game defender when Forbort can grow into that at the very least. Regardless, I just don't see it for 1 defender, let alone 2.
We better hope they don't find any scoring touch. They have the talent. Just 1 or 2 goals a game and they could be in a very different position.
They will, it's a question of 'when,' I just hope we're not on the schedule when the dam bursts.

Ofcourse the Kings are looking for d-man. We are one injury away from Matt Greene entering the lineup and two away from Jeff Schultz. The Kings are fine at 1-2 with Doughty and Muzzin but lack a true #3 d-man who can somewhat neutralize teams who have star players on different lines (Chicago). And we could also use a veteran depth guy to make sure it would take multiple injuries to see Greene or Schultz in the playoffs.
Some still have some kind of sentimental attachment to Greene but the fact is that he is terrible and if he ends up on the ice with even second line type players he is going to be exposed, against stars like Benn or Kane it would be a bloodbath. He just can't keep up with NHL skaters anymore.
