three straight drafts of waddell publicly saying they want to trade the pick, only to find no takers?I bet we end up making the pick.
But don't worry, he'll tell you he gets his best work done at the draft.three straight drafts of waddell publicly saying they want to trade the pick, only to find no takers?
the man has negative levels of juice
The only one that really could be bad in hindsight is the Necas for #4, which probably should've been made but I'm not ready to give him the boot for it before we know what becomes of Lindstrom.three straight drafts of waddell publicly saying they want to trade the pick, only to find no takers?

I have wanted Don to make a move but the prices of players moving - especially yesterday have me apprehensive / anxious. This should elicit excitement, but mostly makes me feel worried. Don't you dare move Marchenko, Don.
If we're making a big move, it's gonna clear out our pool at minimum, especially if we aren't giving up roster players.I have wanted Don to make a move but the prices of players moving - especially yesterday have me apprehensive / anxious.
Plus wasn't Dobson kind of underwhelming in Montreal? Obviously they did well but I didn't hear much good about him.The only one that really could be bad in hindsight is the Necas for #4, which probably should've been made but I'm not ready to give him the boot for it before we know what becomes of Lindstrom.
And by all means we made the right call last year with Smith who has only increased his value.
Who knows what will happen this year and who might fall in our laps.
He was on the Athletics “worst contracts” list for Montreal - not because he was particularly bad, but because he’s not even close to a $9M player.Plus wasn't Dobson kind of underwhelming in Montreal? Obviously they did well but I didn't hear much good about him.
Voronkov wasn't great but Smith is one of the most fun prospects we've had in awhile.
it’s not for lack of trying!!! he’s trying so hard!!!But don't worry, he'll tell you he gets his best work done at the draft.
going into the deadline in his first year firmly in the mix for a playoff spot, with two first round picks in hand, talking a big game about improving the team, and walking away with luke kunin (fart noise) was pretty egregious tooThe only one that really could be bad in hindsight is the Necas for #4, which probably should've been made but I'm not ready to give him the boot for it before we know what becomes of Lindstrom.

But what if the return is better? This should elicit excitement, but mostly makes me feel worried. Don't you dare move Marchenko, Don.
NHL DRAFT NEWS: 14th pick (not even a player yet) has asked to be traded to a no-tax stateI half expect to wake up tomorrow and find out the 14th overall pick has requested a trade. Like the actual pick asked to be traded.
He is not a superstar who can carry a Cup-contending team so why would we want him? The only problem is who wants a player like that?I can't see one single conceivable reason why the Jackets would even entertain the idea of trading Marchenko.
Then I'll be surprised, a bit melancholic and then excited. But what if the return is better?
Yeah that one hurt, can't really sugar coat that.going into the deadline in his first year firmly in the mix for a playoff spot, with two first round picks in hand, talking a big game about improving the team, and walking away with luke kunin (fart noise) was pretty egregious too

With the moves that have happened already, nothing GMDW is linked to is going to move the needle. He should have been out in front of all of this.i’m higher on debrusk than most and i really like jared mccann but how does this even move the needle?
