I know Marchenko is likely not going to be moved, but what sort of overpay would Jacket’s fans hope for if he were to be? What are the biggest needs for the team?

Top 6 winger, probably second line level than a top line, finisher, preferably right handed shot to complement Marchenko as we have no other heavy shot right hander

Well Waddell aint going to take a discount to move him. If he wants out then the other team needs to pay full price. This isn't a true NMC because it drops to 10 teams next year and you can get the same amount of value for 1 year as 2 now with a more limited market.

I’m sure we could probably get a decent package from Dallas - and that’s probably a “acceptable” team for him.

But also if this is what he’s doing as the team is finally starting to ascend and get out of a rebuild, after two players died, and he himself has had warts in his own game until the last couple years - I think a lot lesser of him now.
