We already have Misa as our future #1C :sarcasm:

We want Misa!
We already have a Misa at home .meme

Would be wild if we could end up with both Misa brothers as our 1-2 punch in the middle. Narrative overload

Would never happen. Although, a pair of brothers as a 1-3 or 1-4 might be possible. What brothers are even capable of being 1-2 punches at the NHL level?

Today? Dylan and Ryan Strome would be a 1-2 punch on a fairly solid team. Those two are a good reminder that drafting high, and giving up on players is bad business.
About 15 years ago? Eric and Jordan Staal would have one of the best 1-2's in the NHL.

Top four looks like Misa (C), Hagens (C), Martone(W) , Schaefer (LD)

Then Frondell (E Lindholm), McQueen (Jeff Carter) and Desnoyers (Sean Couturier) will be in the top 10 picks and all play C. I like them all a lot but more likely 2C guys.

Rounding out the top 10 is likely a combo of Eklund(W), Hensler (D), J Smith(D), Bear (W/C) and Spence (W)
Hensler's dropping maybe out of top 10 now. Smith, Aitchenson & Mrtka might have passsed him now.
Hagens, Schaeffer, Martone, Misa, McQueen, Frondell, Desnoyers, Spence should still be the top 8 on most lists, after that there'll be a lot of variation.

Isles put Oliver Wahlstrom waivers today, he's 24 and was drafted 11th overall, I feel like he's the kind of guy we should take a flier on, play him over Kuzmenko.

Wahlstrom’s skating is quite literally on par with Kuzmenko’s, while thinking the game 3 times slower. He doesn’t have the speed or brain to utilize that absolute cannon of a shot he posseses, and the sunk cost of him being an 11th overall pick is legitimately the only reason he is still in the NHL. We have better internal options honestly.

If McTavish was actually available (I could malarkey), I think that's the trade Conroy should be looking into if he is looking at young centers. Andersson + would be a good starting point.

I get that a top pairing RD is a proven commodity but they already have Gudas and Trouba on the right who have the exact same amount of term as Ras

While he’s miles better than both of them they have some interesting prospects on that side that they’re going to have to get playing time

He’s got a ton of value but don’t really see him being the guy that the Ducks would be targeting in a return for McT

I don't know if the Ducks are in a position to add someone like Ras, if they're seriously looking at moving McTavish, Zegras and Gibson, they've got to be looking at restarting their rebuild.
