Of course, I ****ed it up, Gaborik is on the top line and Brown is down on the third I believe. I will fix it when I get a chance.

We must not forget the role that the purrito played in Thursday's victory

Great another 1pm start. Just when I thought they could get on a purrito roll with a soft schedule coming up. Couldn't beat a **** Flyers team that was on a 6 game road losing streak the last time. Hopefully Kopitar, Carter and Gaborik stay hot and do enough to overcome the early start hurdle.

1pm game vs a team low in the standings that hates us. Their lineup looks awful at forward. They may start their backup goalie.

In the past that was a recipe for being totally and utterly boned. But since we've been so bad results wise lately, maybe we're due!

Seriously just carry the play like we have been, stay focused/minimize stupid mistakes, and good things will happen. GKG!

Smith is having a terrible season and Dubnyk doesn't belong in the NHL so goaltending is definitely their weak link, but you are right, they are suffering from a couple of oddities at forward and defense this weekend with Hanzal staying back to be with his pregnant wife (he may make the trip late, from what I understand), and Stone being scratched for undisclosed reasons.

Posted this in a separate thread...sorry for the duplication, but I thought this might be useful here. I apologize in advance if I'm doing something I shouldn't here...

ALSO: Something important that you might not know about Marian Gaborik, praise for Alec Martinez, and video not avaiable anywhere else of post-practice interviews on December 19, 2014, with Los Angeles Kings forwards Dustin Brown and Justin Williams, defenseman Jake Muzzin, and head coach Darryl Sutter...

Defense Is The Catalyst For The Los Angeles Kings

So is McBain playing, and not Schultz? Earlier, they couldn't call up Schultz until they got cap relief on VV. If McBain is their choice, then it makes sense not to call Forbort up! You want Forbort playing game no matter if he's up or down! It doesn't matter so much with McBain or Schultz.

Dubnyk already has one win against the Kings this season.... so there's that.....

Bad team... should be a massacre.... maybe Kinger gets another Hatty against the Coyotes... maybe Quick lets in 5 point shots.... who knows...

We are having Christmas today so I won't be able to watch. Hoping for a decisive win and lots of Doan tears!

It would be nice if some of the emotion from the last game showed up today. It is the Coyotes, it's not like it's an Eastern team. But it is the Kings too, and it's a weekend afternoon game. So get the 2 points however it needs to be done.

Hey Ron I appreciate you doing the GDTs, they're great. Could you scale down the images though? They don't need to be 3000x3000 pixels and 2 MB big each, you could easily scale them down to one quarter size and still be good. Just a suggestion!

Happy to have another early Kings game, we've had a lot of them this season. So much more convenient for me :)

I'll see what I can do to reduce file size on the two biggest offenders (team boards). I can lessen the quality of all the graphics to reduce loading time. I'll try it for the Calgary game.
