How he have such high trade value when he passed through waivers not too long ago. New hope for Byron getting traded.

I would be irate. That’s horrendous.

ghost is NOT a cap dump.
He went through waivers last season and is expensive. Look at the cost to move guys like Brett Connolly in this environment with multiple years. (Heck teams bought out some weird contracts to acquire cap this year)

In a normal cap environment, he isn't a dump, but right now cap space is expensive. I'd think it would cost about a 2nd to move him for nothing, but cap space is at a premium so I see them bargaining. Maybe the 13th is too high, but it seems like a reasonable ask

It's Ghost + a 2022 2nd and a 7th from the Blues in exchange for future consideration from the Coyotes I believe

I'm not surprised Philly didn't have to add to unload Gost (whose contract isn't that bad), but I am quite surprised they got an actual return for him in this environment.

Not sure what this really accomplishes for Arizona.
