Are team's going to try to copy Florida's style?

nice fanfic, in reality it's the no taxes/weather/no fan expectations

Now that you’re physical West has been debunked, you go on to attacking the fan base, taxes, and the weather? :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh: At this point, you’re not just moving the goalposts, you’re relocating the entire stadium. This isn’t a debate anymore, it’s a game of hide and seek with the truth. Pathetic.

don't be strawmanning, lower pressure in non-traditional markets is a fact

it's also pure cope to think that low taxes/good weather/lower pressure isn't a major factor. keep it up!

It's not hard when you're playing on a team with low taxes, nice weather, and can give players more money than a high-tax city.

Also, Florida took in Reinhart and Bennett when he looked like a below-decent player but turned out Calgary just didn't use him right where he turned into one of the most effective players in the league. So getting good players at a good cost really helped them where they are today. I wonder how different they'd be if they didn't trade for Giroux and Chiarot.

The Leafs had their era of truculence.
The problem they ran into was that it's not enough to be cheapshot artists. One also needs the drive and heart of a champion.

Three straight Stanley Cup finals. I would think teams will start to try to copy Floridas style as it's clearly successful in the playoffs. What do you think?
Vancouver Canucks probably gonna try to copy their style. Style do you mean the way the team is built or the playing system the Florda uses? most teams are already like that, though in the NHL today.

But yea, Vancouver Canucks probably will attempt to try to build the team the way Florida has.

absolutely insane that Paul Maurice starting coaching when he was 28? holy shit. Also the only active coach that's coached when Jagr and Lemiuex were in their prime.

There will definitely be a premium on line stepping players as long as the NHL is continuing in the direction of calling fewer penalties.

Why wouldn't you acquire a dirty player when the NHL isn't interested in enforcing it's own rules?

A line crosser is a great asset when penalties aren't enforced.

Repeatedly repeating this doesn’t make it true.
Seems true though, It’s a farce. Bennett is a professional “oops i fell over” and hit your head/took you out of a game by accident player. The Campbell nonsense is same shit Boston dealt with in the 2010’s. Even the optics of a conflict of interest should be enough to ask questions. The league is inviting this. The son of the VP of hockey operations in the NHL being an assistant GM raises questions, legitimate or not, it’s a conflict of interest.
