Pretty sure they weren't willing to or able to do anything. None of them would have fared better than Arber. The other 4 leafs on the ice just watch their team mate get thrown around

Florian Xhekaj, Thorpe, Protz, Tuch are soft players?I like this player but he is not a replacement for a culture of being tough and finishing checks. The team is full of soft players who are easy to play against and Arber. This issue has plagued Montreal for a long time and we still wont draft mean/tough players.
None of those players are in the NHL and maybe never make the NHL. My point stands that our team is very perimeter and very "sof".Florian Xhekaj, Thorpe, Protz, Tuch are soft players?
First you need to build a base of talent. Our team was both soft and talentless for a long long time. I prefer going for talent first.I like this player but he is not a replacement for a culture of being tough and finishing checks. When you watch that talent get absolutely smashed and the injuries start piling up do you still enjoy it? It's gonna be a lot of fun bringing Demidov in next year and seeing how long before people start running him because we have a token tough guy and the rest of the team has no teeth. Remember when we had Laraque and he would have his staged fight but the rest of the team wouldn't finish a check? This team hasn't be tough to play against in ages and it doesn't look like it will ever change.First you need to build a base of talent. Our team was both soft and talentless for a long long time. Being soft is a big part of Gorton's team building reputationWhen you watch that talent get absolutely smashed and the injuries start piling up do you still enjoy it? Habs are softish, but let us not forget Struble is not someone other teams take liberty with. More sandpaper needed!Thank god for Arber. The only one that stand up for anybody on this soft team.
The only one who brings a identity to a identity-less team. That start from the management team.
MSL said nothing of the sort, he refused to answer a stupid question: tell us what you are going to tell Arber before you get to talk to him.Did St-Louis reasly said he was not on board with what Xhekaj did?
Get on it Geoff
Xhekaj not being suspended multiple games is f***ing criminal.
The NHL is pathetic.
The players who play the game are mostly uneducated idiots with a bunch of concussions who don't care about their own well being. No, they got it right. The players who play the actual game are gonna be siding one way on this, and it's not the way you think.
