He still need work in the AHL, It was rough for a big part of the game. That being said, we will see him in the NHL and will probably never go down to Laval after that

Happy for him that he scored. Hope it can help his confidence in Laval
The last thing that he has to worry about is a lack of confidence.

He didn't take a bad penalty at the end of the game, otherwise that was a typical game for him.

He is doing very good but like all our top prospects I think starting the season in the AHL is best, if after 40 games he dominate and the only way to improve is to face tougher competition than bring him to the NHL but I think it is best for is career that he get some time in the AHL. I saw (team in general) a lot of puck watching and players not moving their feet and continually being out work by Ottawa intensity which was help young player… Xhekaj, Guhle, Barron , Slaf should all be in the AHL, they could play in the NHL but they be trying to keep there head above water playing safe, you need young player to be pushing their limits not playing to limit mistakes…

He's been more noticeable than Harris but Harris has been the more effective player.

Xhekaj has some positioning issues that he needs to straighten out in the AHL. I don't think there's anything for Harris to gain in the AHL outside of QBing the top PP but that should go to Norlinder, anyway.

Harris has made less mistakes, true, but he's also produced less things offensively. He takes less risks. Just a different style.

I think hes where he needs to be in the Ozone and the neutral zone (Havent really caught his game there, I expect its decent.) But boy he needs work in the Dzone. Twice yesterday he got caught Gollum'ing the puck right up to the blue line.

Don't forget Justin Barron on RD who is still very raw.

I know he has alot to prove but Logan Mailloux may become the best of the bunch.
The only major issue I have with Logan is his hockey IQ. It really sucks he's missed so much time over the past couple years. It may take a little longer to get his brain in sync with his talent.

I think the best might be Hutson IMO. His skills are just over the chart!

Ghule-Mailloux
Xhekaj-Hutson
Harris-Barron
Engstrom

Some serious prospect in there!

Well large NHL men won't be afraid of him in the beginning. Expect him to be tested.
Funny how Kastelic jumped him when Kastelic was the biggest coward in the AHL over the past few years. He played tough but always avoided the tough guys.
Xhekaj ain't forgotten.

Yeah I kept hearing about this kid Hutson alot leading up to the draft and I knew he would not be around for us to draft...nice to be wrong

What's funny is I was also 100% sure Caufield wouldn't drop to 15...but he did, because of their size many teams were too scare to draft him.....like Caufield, I think we made a steal here.

And we have guys like Xhekaj and Guhle to compensate.

Does Miller even do play by play or just keeps yapping about trivial nonsense that everybody already has heard a bazillion times.lol.

that inbred hick is awful, but the current guy on TSN2 ruins every game with his play-by-play. All he does is recite Pejorative Slured facts, nothing of value. I want to punch the screen whenever Bryan Mudryk starts yapping about ridiculous factoids and fables.

They will test him for sure, but not sure they will come back for another shot 🤣

true but there aren't a lot of guys who can test him in today's NHL. Kastelic jumped him and watson held on for dear life. Arber may need to learn to protect himself against more skilled fighters and not always go toe to toe. I get that he's 6'4, 240 but I personally don't want him fighting Reaves, Deslauriers, Lucic, Macdermid and Ross Johnson just for the sake of fighting

The Armenian Assassin is NHL ready or damn close to it.

Wait until he is a couple of years older...there won't be anyone who will want to tangle with him.
