Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. He should start in Montreal. He's by far the best defenseman we have this camp.

1 year in the AHL for Jackeye would be good for his development. He has a lot of potential to become more than a bottom pairing D.

Unless we unload Wideman, send the Ax and Harris down to be the 1st pairing in Laval.
I am totally tempted at this point to have Barron, Guhle, Ax and Harris all in the show, but I don't see how we make that happens.
I think if all four are place in the NHL, one of them for sure will emerge as the best of the bunch and begin to think like a top pair.
With Mailloux and Hutson still to come, our D depth is outstanding.
I guess an argument for Axe over the others is we have less to lose with him. Literally we didn't draft him. He is the most physically ready. It may propel him into the next level. The other more skilled guys may need that time in the A.

If anything Guhle gets AHL time, Harris is ready and Barron is just about there. Guhle just got out of junior ans needs some seasoning in the pro ranks. I hope he ans barron go to AHL and jackeye and Harris complete the D corps unless we pick up some on waivers ans tank
Good options. I honestly don't care at this point. All four of the main D rookies in camp look very promising. Mailloux and Hutson are coming as well. I think by 2024/25, we could see the following;
Xhekaj - Guhle
Harris - Barron
Hutson - Mailloux
Or a version of this.

It's a limited sample size so far for sure, but is it crazy of me to put him above Harris and Barron in training camp performance as of today?
Xhekaj plays a much simpler game that should translate better to the NHL this season. The risks taken by both Harris and Barron often leads to odd man rushes for the other team. I could see them benefitting more for spending time in the AHL than Xhekaj would.

Francis Bouillon said it that Xhekaj need some time in the AHL.
That being said he wasn't in my call up option before the camp but if he continue like that, he would be in my call up option for sure and there is a possibility that he finish the year here.
He will need to work on his gap control in the AHL
