The news anchors gushing over the King taking communion made me walk out of the room.

America's fascination with the same monarchy our founding fathers broke from is so strange to me.

I think the only people who gush over it are tabloid readers that are already obsessed with Hollywood types and the news. Ask anyone else around and it's just crickets. Most people I know don't give a damn about them

The BBC news anchors are very low key....

My favorite royal is Princess Anne....

That's why I prefer the BBC telecasts, plus their knowledge of the ceremonies and who is who in the RF and among the guests.

For me this is living history. I think it is true for a lot of the Brits too, for what ever reason they want a living link to their history.

Good luck King Charles III- although your mother was small in physical stature she left some mighty big shoes to fill.

Nashville has been taken over by Taylor Swift this weekend. Three concerts at Nissan Stadium. :help:

A guy at my church has some sort of job where he helps with special event a/v setups like this at the stadium. He said they brought in 77 semi trucks worth of... whatever you need to do these shows.

Seventy. Seven. Trucks.

Crazy

She has a very elaborate stage design. It's really cool.

I'm seeing her May 19th at Gillette with my sister. And I'm very excited about it

They were a complete surprise for my birthday. Since the whole ticketmaster fiasco. I'm just happy to be going.

Taylor Swift’s music isn’t really my thing, but I’m happy you’re going to see her! Hope you have a blast.

Appreciate it! It'll be the first time in 3 years ill be in THAT big of a crowd so obviously I'm feeling nervous. You'll be seeing pictures on facebook of my time so be ready haha.

I genuinely love all kids of music. I can't say I hate anything. You'll find my playlist with music from the 50's-to 70's- to Classical music, to hard rock, indie to scream, to country to rap. Musicals etc. If you're in a car with me, you'll never be bored!

What part of Mexico are you in?

Cancun.

The sargassum is BAD. The ocean is unswimmable, which is a huge bummer since we’re usually beach v pool people at resorts. But since this is a wedding and there’s tons of people around, it’s more about the party so pool is fine!

Wally stopped me from posting a take so hot (but so accurate) that it would have split this board in half with no chance of reconciliation ever. Would have been a true HF international incident that would have made the 2010 Olympics look like a fun romp among family members.

I will NOT be accepting DMs at this time so don't bother.
You’re my third favourite

Sargassum? I barely know ‘em

Hey y’all

If we all showed up at a HFBruins pool party in, say, New Mexico somewhere

Who would be the first in the pool, and why?

I’ve been at the USA Hockey Conference listening to NHL, Olympians and College coaches all weekend and this morning we had a former Bruin panel that included Mike Milbury, and he nearly got the whole thing shut down with a racey story from the good ole (inappropriate) days.

The President had to come out, interrupt the next presenter and apologize to the whole assembly.

Seriously?

Chibby (I think) would definitely help you.
Chibby loves festivals

One time we were asked to leave a street performer festival bc chibby was taking all the attention away from the performers

Has anyone had success with acupuncture? I went yesterday for stomach pain (had every test available and nothing shows up) it feels like the muscles and I believe it could be from 2 years of hell doing a number on me - my anxiety has been sky high for the entire time and I'm just now able to relax a little.

The practitioner who is Chinese and studied in China worked on those stomach muscles and also treated me for anxiety with needles in other places including my scalp. She said I would sleep better last night.....and I really did! The most solid sleep I have had in a long time - still not long enough but I was amazed how easily I fell and stayed asleep.
I have recently started for my ostreoarthritis & has found it to be helful
