If Kolosov has any sense he stays.
If the Flyers has any sense, they send Luchanko back to juniors and run with 3 goalies, including Kolosov.

Nah Kolosov needs to play on a regular basis. Either call him up to partner with Sam or leave him be for now.If the Flyers has any sense, they send Luchanko back to juniors and run with 3 goalies, including Kolosov.

Having 3 goalies will make the situation worse imo.
We are what, two months removed from you pretending that finding those resources is very difficult?
He may. If he does, then that is on him and hope he enjoys Russia. There is a path for him to get to the NHL if he does his job and remains patient. Not going to fault the Flyers on this one just yet.The problem is, even if he's finding a groove in the AHL, he may still go back to the KHL instead of being in the AHL. I really don't want him going back.

The Lazy 8s....I remember back in the day when the Flyers had a line called Crazy 8s. Lindros, Recchi, and Fedyk.
Meet the new Crazy 8s.
Ersson, .886
Fedotov,.821
Kolosov, .878
I'm not the best goalie guy -- but he was okay IMO. Super shaky early on, looked weird making saves but made them for the most part.Anyone have any insight on how he played? Little confused about the one where Gallagher broke his stick?
Given a taste of NA hockey, going back to the KHL isn't as big of an issue. The problem is, even if he's finding a groove in the AHL, he may still go back to the KHL instead of being in the AHL. I really don't want him going back.
I think if they can get him more poised and self confident on the faster NHL pace he looks very exiting his agility and movement is elite. If this guy can look big in the net he is going to be very good right now he often looks smaller than he is just need the team play better in front of him and get more experience.
You know who has better lateral movement....Flyers management (i.e. Clarkie, Holmgren et al)That is something I noticed from the highlights. He has some pretty damn good lateral movement.
Something all five of the Flyers current goalies could also admit to.I'm not the best goalie guy
The next B2B is November 30th, so hopefully a desperate Torts doesn't just start Ersson every game until then.Had to have some nerves coming into the game. Gave up that bad goal but I think he should get another start or 2 before figuring out what to do with him.
