its called a sign and trade...

and I posted the idea in the isles forum and they seem ok with it. more likely a swap of firsts (assuming not top 3) but no one is calling me insane

You think 25-30 goal scorers grow on trees? Go look at the leading scorer totals for the Isles over the last 4 years. Barzal with a high of 62 points.

They literally cannot score. A 24/25 year old who's put up .80ppg and .42 goals per game in his career is not junk dude.

This is also not a video game, a draft pick doesn't guarantee anything, and this year is a weak draft. Futures have alot more risk than a proven 25-30 goal scorer in the NHL. My lord people think draft picks are like winning golden tickets to Willie Wonka's chocolate factory.

Go look at how often draft picks dont amount to much, hell look at Jake, OJ and many in that draft. Too many people over value draft picks. What we are doing is getting futures to clear space and giving them a YOUNG 25-30 goal scorer - I think you need to realize that. Boeser is not "junk"

but carry on
I believe you received this response regarding Boeser abilities on Vancouver board today:

“I obviously mean that Boeser is physically limited in his skating.
Looks like you are the only one who had trouble understanding that”.

I do not believe this statement requires more comments.

So if he's physically limited, clearly by logic, he's not a bad skater, he's just injured

The debate was I said he's a bad skater who needs to be coached

The other said, its not technique, to which I said then you're saying he's not a bad skater but there's some other issue.

Which is what you just posted (the quote from the other)

You're literally proving me right. I am amazed at how people can't even see their own basic logic and I have to spell it out for them.

thanks

If Lucic is tradable, Wheeler is tradable. Just not going to turn the needle in the return.
Lucic wasn’t traded for value. He was traded for the equally bad contract of James Neal. That was eventually bought out. That’s just shuffling paper. That isn’t a trade where one side got any value for a player.

Wheeler isn’t getting traded for value either. He’d be moved for a bad contract in return.
