I'll never stop saying that Kopitar's abilities have either been underrated or underappreciated by everyone (including myself). And that's not a knock on anyone. To varying degrees people have recognized him, but to be one of the top all-time scorers with his durability and hard minutes, the Kings would have been a very different team. This thread rules.
He's got an outside shot at top 25 all time. But even top 40 is something I had never thought he'd get to for a variety of reasons...duration and durability and consistency unmatched, but on a defesnive team in a lower scoring era...so glad it's back up and the team has been trending up and it's really their turn to feed HIM some points.
