Its been awful quiet in regards to trading or not re-signing Benny the last few weeks...

Yeah, first guy we’ve hit on in the draft for a good time now imo. Love the kid and you can see him improving as he gets more NHL experience, he sees the game well, good sense for where his teammates are on the ice, and has a wicked release.

Once he puts on more size and speed he will be lethal. I’m expecting a big breakout season next year.

Yeah but Reinhart arguably would've been worth 10m+.

Bennett on the other hand I wouldn't go more than 7m.

The problem with Bennett is his game is going to fall off a cliff eventually. Reinhart is so f***ing smart it’s going to be such a slow burn plus he can barely skate as is.

He’s the only mean top 9 forward on the team. Chucky is a pest but Bennett will lay somebody out. If he goes elsewhere who replaces him?
