Anything Goes 42

I used to. It's connections to NFTs and crypto currencies pushed me to go back to FF.

And I think the Firefox and Ublock Origin extension do a better job of preventing ads and pop-ups over Brave.
What about the connection to cryptos/NFTs concerned you?

It's not necessarily that it was forced down my throat, and more the fact that companies that try to use those means as a way to generate revenue are not the type I want to support.

I'm not a fan of Mozilla (Firefox's owner), but at least they aren't pushing NFTs and crypto (which I find are both scams).

Interesting. I never really paid attention to it. Saw some crap in the corner of my browser many times but just put it out of my mind. Figured thanks for the Monopoly money and the browser.

I haven’t lived there in 20 years and have recently started getting them actually. From really sketchy looking numbers and emails too.

And I don’t even have a Chicago area number.
That's a pretty common scheme going around now, it's not just Illinois. I'm in GA and I'm getting them specifically for the local tolls here....just delete/block.

It's just phishing. Ignore them. It's happening across the country. Someone in DOGE probably sold a bunch of toll contact information to Russia.
