The police on the scene said they were lucky to be in a school bus, and if it was a coach bus, they are probably looking at mass casualties.

Two of the kids were taken to the trauma center for surgery last night. From what I was told, nothing life threatening, so I'm not sure where the critical condition reports came from. Maybe the initial scene.

The criminal charges are probably a foregone conclusion at this point. They got a call about him speeding and weaving back and forth in the lanes before the accident, he refused sobriety tests, and the cab and driver reeked of alcohol.

I'm actually proud of myself for waiting until Black Friday to buy Chel this year.

I am not looking forward to the inevitable death of ps4. I enjoy the hell out of Madden, Show and Chel but I don't play anything else and I don't play often enough to justify $500 for a new console.

It would be really nice if they had a PC version again.

Anyway, I'm probably going to end up getting my fix from franchise hockey manager/baseball manager and look into ps3 emulators with updated rosters.

They're for Buffaloed and Fugu, two longtime site admins that passed away in 2022 and 2018 respectively. Those were for their avatars. Fugu's has been up for years and Buffaloed's was added about three months ago.

No.

Series S is a slightly lower end (and all digital) version of the Xbox Series X. Instead of games running at 4k/60fps like on the X or PS5, games generally run at 1080p with 30-60fps.

I did too, but a next Gen console for under $300 persuaded me to go digital.

Plus there is Gamepass for Xbox that is a huge deal if you know what you're doing when you sign up for it. Makes digital a lot more appealing.

I might try to squeeze out one more year from my PS4. I have way higher priorities on my hobby list at the moment. Astronomy/Fishing>>>>>>everything else right now.

I still have to get a pop up shanty and new winter gear before I can even think about video games.
Those are dual hobby uses too. I use the shanty and winter gear for both ice fishing and imaging.

Admittedly not a tech guy but I’m 38. Don’t play video games anymore. Don’t own a computer.
Have a iPhone 11 I think. Have 3 big flat screens only a few years old. I do have Wi-Fi.

Yeah, I still run a 720p plasma tv from 2009 so I'd have to get a new tv before I even think about a new console.
