Three days per week I eat bran flakes, three days per week I eat eggs on wheat toast. One weekend morning I get a whole wheat everything bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato and onion. It’s my favorite.

Pizza delivery guy just walks into my office space to drop off a bunch of pizzas, since our company has a training session going on for our employees in our big training room.

He stops at my office door... and says "Are you...(looks down at his paper) Jah Net?" Mind you... the person he's looking for is our office manager, Janet. He pronounced Janet like Jah Net.(or Jeannette) like from Alvin and Chipmunks.

I had to just point him around the corner... I really wanted to say "My name is on a placard on the wall right outside my office door, literally 1 foot in front of your nose. And do I look like a Janet?"

Guess we know why he's delivering pizzas...

Ah. Every Sunday I do something similar but I add capers and go with an everything bagel or salt bagel.

Once in a while I’ll mix things up and have smoked sable instead of lox. It’s fantastic, but you need to get it from a good Jewish deli. Same for the lox, frankly. Packaged lox doesn’t cut it.

Luckily I live in the area of Minneapolis where most of the Jewish population lives so there a few decent Jewish deli's around. (this sentence reads really odd to me)

It's a weird thing when there's something that so many people are excited and talking about that you have no interest in. I almost feel strange telling people that I'm not going to see Endgame and that those movies aren't my thing, like I'm letting them down, lol.

Wow, this is disappointing to hear.

Lol, jk. I obviously have no issue with people who aren’t into these kind of movies. I do, however, have an issue with people who aren’t into these kinds of movies and then criticize the movie on that basis.

Like, it’s 100% fine if you don’t like superhero movies. I don’t like horror movies, for example. But I won’t be sharing my opinion on horror movies because of that.

Not that you care about any of that or that it pertains to you, but it’s just a huge pet peeve of mine.

My German Shorthair tweaked something in his shoulder (so we though) and we go to the vet. They take an X-ray and then call me back...inoperable bone cancer. WTF. 100% healthy and boom cancer. Seriously f*** cancer.

Oh I'm not knocking anyone who likes them. To each their own. Obviously, I'm in the minority here. It's just a weird feeling when the culture at large, most of my friends and family included, are really into something that's just neither here nor there for me personally.
