India's a pretty meh player overall, but you gotta like his ability to get on base. Royals need more traffic on the basepaths, that's their game.

Singer's an intruiging guy who outpitched his ability last year, really only throws 2 pitches. If he's to be more consistent, he'll prob need a reliable 3rd pitch he can go to, mostly to deal with lefties.

His career OPS against lefties is .100 higher than RHB, it's rare to see that kind of disparity with RHP.

Dumb trade for the Royals. Just when they are starting to develop good starting pitching depth, they deal one of those good pieces for a no defense INF who is Michael Massey with a few extra homers and who was last actually good like three years ago…

Singer had 3.1 bWAR last year. India has less than that the last 3 years total.

I don’t like it. Tell me I’m wrong. I don’t like it when people are trying to convince me the “value” lies in the idea the guy we traded might turn into a pumpkin as opposed to the guy we got actually playing to the level of the guy we traded did just this year.
