Alright.... big end of the week ahead.

My last ever college exam is tomorrow. Thankfully, my last one is also my easiest one. We can have a cheat sheet, and that's all you need for this teacher's tests every time. Then, I will officially be getting a job offer on Saturday. Unless something unexpected happens, I am expecting to accept the offer. Then, Sunday will be my graduation day. Graduation in the early afternoon, and then my parents are hosting a graduation dinner for me that night. And last.. at that dinner, I will be popping the question to my girlfriend. She is expecting in within the next few months, but she has no idea it will be this soon. I am not too nervous about that yet, but I feel like that will start to change once I get to like Saturday night.

How are you going to ask? Taking a knee?

@BK not to derail other thread too much.... for the cold brew I’d buy in a store, yes making it is cheaper. I guess if you bought the cheapest cold brew by the gallon or whatever then maybe not.

I have a cold brew kit and like being able to pick my beans but I have found that TJ's concentrate (regular and French roast) are a better value. I drink my iced coffee with almond/soy/lactose free milk over ice (just finding out I have lactose issues so there have been some adjustments).

For fresh brewed, my wife and I exclusively drink Tanzanian Peaberry. Talking just fresh brewed coffee not espresso, etc.

Gotta love self-righteous attorneys. I emailed their office on Tuesday asking for their fees for a closing and they didn't respond, I sent them a copy of a prelim statement on Wednesday asking if they had any revisions and they didn't respond, and I sent them a final lender-approved statement earlier today only to only just now finally ask for a revision, and they're somehow surprised that their fees aren't being allowed on the statement as the lender has locked the file?

Respond promptly, idiots.

What is a cold brew kit?

I just go get whatever beans I want ground coarsely and go home and steep them for 24 hours.

I have a hand grinder I use so would rather not hand grind 2-3 cups of beans at a time.

Hot coffee I use a French press.

Drink cold brew and hot coffee both straight black. Anything else is wrong.

I youtubed it, Laurel clear as day to me. Apparently if you said Laurel, you’re right, but if you said Yanny, your hearing picks up on higher frequencies.

Maybe the “L” sound at the beginning is a bit muted but I hear no “N” sound at all and “L” sound is clear at the end. I can’t see how you get Yanny out of that.
