Almost every LD spot is spoken for at the moment and some teams (looking in Seattle's general direction) have an excess. Murray could be part of the salary cap wiggle that the Islanders are still sorting out to fill in some of Nick Leddy's vacated minutes.

I've always like Ryan Murray but his career got derailed by injuries.

I think that he could be a very solid 2nd pairing guy but he might want more than teams are willing to pay for.
